Our Story

Keeper of the Word was birthed from a love for God’s living Word—the Word that
convicts the heart, challenges the soul, guides our steps, and calls us to holy living. In the darkest moments of our deepest trials, it is His inspired Word that brings hope, assurance,
and life.
​ For almost four decades, the Lord has shaped my journey through biblical studies, writing, photography, and design so that each gift might serve His glory. The devotionals you find here
are filled with personal testimonies from my life, my family, and friends—along with the stories
of our animal companions. Through God’s creation, timeless spiritual truths unfold across
both the written word and the visual reflection.
​ My prayer is that God’s holiness, glory, compassion, love, sufficiency, truth, and faithfulness

For nearly four decades, I have had the joy of teaching God’s Word through women’s events, life groups, Bible studies, and college ministries.
My husband and I now call Central Texas home, where we have shared our lives with many four-legged fur-children. Our dogs, in particular, have been living portraits of devotion, loyalty, obedience, and love. Their lessons have inspired not only my writing but also my photography. Throughout this site, you will see our dogs—along with pups, horses, cattle, and other animals from the lives of family and friends—woven into devotionals and visual storytelling. It is my prayer that God will speak to your heart through
every lesson and story shared here.
